Animal lover and owner Lyn Odom is offering pet sitting services for all animals including livestock and exotics. As a lifelong animal owner, Lyn has valuable and common–sense knowledge of livestock and house pet behaviors, healthcare and needs. With veterinarian clinic experience, years of hands–on know how and a vast library of animal care books, rest assured your animals will be in knowledgeable, caring and concerned hands.
Pet sitting visits include cleaning bowls/buckets, feeding and refreshing water, play/pet/brush session, cleaning cages, litter boxes or stalls, shaking out bedding, turnout/bring in, rotating home lights and blinds to give your place that "I'm at home" look, bringing in the mail and newspaper, outdoor property check and watering plants.
Service fees (within 20 miles of Kingsland):
1 visit per day $18
2 visits per day $30
3 visits per day $50
add $5 per visit per additional pet
add $5 per livestock head (discount available for large herds)
Additional $1 per mile over 40-mile round trip.
Pet and livestock "taxi" service available, offering safe, travel-kennel transport for pets and two-horse-sized, adjustable slant load, padded floor trailering for horses, sheep, goats and calves - $3 per mile (some return trips half price). Overnight pet sitting offered for storm-spooky pets beginning at $45 per night, which includes evening and next morning feedings. Clients with livestock may have a minimal additional fee. Service notes jotted down for pet owners; email and phone calls answered ASAP.
